I met this beautiful family 9 months ago when we came to visit DC and I am so thankful that we moved here a month later and have them in our lives. These people are the real deal. Genuine people. Good friends.

I love hanging out with them and watching how much fun they have together. The silliness and giggles that fill their house are such sweet sounds. I love that they are so welcoming and that they love their friends, this city, and want to show Jesus to everyone they met.

We started this shoot at their house and then walked through our neighborhood as they would do any other night. They played together, rode their bikes, and strolled through Eastern Market. I loved this session because it felt so authentic and fit their family dynamic so well. The Riedels care deeply about their neighborhood, and I’m so happy that these photos get to reflect that!
